Every great chocolate starts with a story. Ours begins with a girl, a kitchen, and an endless curiosity about what makes chocolate magical.

2020

The First Taste

At age 6, Katie visits her first chocolate factory — Lindt in Kilchberg, Switzerland. The seed is planted.

2021

European Explorations

Chocolate-making courses in Milan and Bologna. Visits to Manner in Vienna. The passion deepens with every city.

2022

Kitchen Experiments Begin

Armed with a digital thermometer and a dream, Katie starts her first truffle experiments in the family kitchen.

2023

Finding Her Flavors

Chocolate courses in Naples, Madrid, and Budapest. Katie discovers Austrian ingredients — Wachau apricots, Styrian pumpkin seeds, elderflower.

2024

The First Collection

Katie creates her first complete truffle collection — four flavors, each inspired by Austrian terroir. Friends and family become eager taste testers.

2025

Katica is Born

The ladybug gets her name. Katica Chocolate takes shape — brand, packaging, and the first gift boxes for the Vienna Christmas markets.

2026

Made with Wonder

The website launches. The story is just beginning.
